I love science for that moment of discovery. There’s this moment when you run an analysis and you discover something new. For a little while, you’re the only person in the world who knows about it. That’s pretty wild.

But also I love knowing that science can improve people’s health and their lives in a really tangible way.

Of course it’s also super interesting both in terms of the research, but the work has let me travel to exciting countries and meet the most incredible people.

I love being able to work with lots of different people, who I can talk to about my work and other stuff in the office! Science is very collaborative in general 🙂 I also just think it’s amazing to see the incredible complexity of living things, in my case tiny cells. And it’s so great to know the work I do is ultimately helping to improve cancer treatment for patients who need hope and options for getting better.
